The Artist’s Background
Born in Yerres in 1974, Philippe Baudelocque graduated from the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris. His journey into graffiti art began in 1988. From June 2009 to December 2013, Baudelocque embarked on a series of 25 chalk frescoes titled “Cosmic Animals.” These creations unfolded consistently at the same location, specifically at 25 Rue du Pont-aux-choux (3rd arr.). Today, Baudelocque continues to contribute significantly to the art world, showcasing his prolific talent not only through chalk but also exploring painting, photography, and sculpture.
