Kolor Kathmandu, an ambitious initiative by the Sattya Media Arts Collective, sought to metamorphose the streets of Kathmandu into an expansive open gallery, harmonizing modern expressions of Nepal’s creativity with the historical edifices that adorn the cityscape.

By orchestrating a platform that encouraged a myriad of local and international artists to collaborate, exchange ideas, and draw inspiration from the rich cultural tapestry of Nepal, the project breathed new life into the walls of Kathmandu. Each mural represented a unique artistic portrayal, encapsulating the essence of 75 different districts across Nepal.
